Qualification Details
| Exam invigilation and certification. |
| 1. Qualification and experience • Degree (minimum 2 years) or diploma (minimum 6 months) related to Food Safety. • Evidence of a minimum of 2 years of experience in the food industry, including at least 1 year in a managerial role (e.g., employer experience letter, CV, or other acceptable evidence). • Minimum 1 year of experience in HACCP at supervisory level or above, or a HACCP Level 3 qualification certificate from a government authority or recognized awarding body. (OR) • Scientific degree (minimum 2 years) (e.g., Medicine, Pharmacy, chemical engineering or other relevant scientific disciplines). • Evidence of a minimum of 4 years of experience in the food industry, including at least 1 year in a managerial role (e.g., employer experience letter, CV, or other acceptable evidence). • Minimum 1 year of experience in HACCP at supervisory level or above, or a HACCP level 3 qualification certificate from a government authority or recognized awarding body. (OR) • Proof of a Food Safety Level 4 or above qualification, or another advanced equivalent food safety qualification issued or recognized by a government authority or a recognized awarding body. • Evidence of a minimum of 4 years of experience in the food industry, including at least 1 year in a managerial role (e.g., employer experience letter, CV, or other acceptable evidence). • Minimum 1 year of experience in HACCP at supervisory level or above, or a HACCP level 3 qualification certificate from a government authority or recognized awarding body. 2. Training Requirement: • Candidates must complete the TSI Advanced Risk-Based Food Safety Level 5 qualification training conducted by an approved TSI tutor. This training is mandatory and is linked to the certification scheme. |

Certification Process
The certification process involves several steps:
Apply through a TSI-approved Center.
Sign the agreement with the TSI-approved Center and submit your personal information.
Attend and complete the TSI examination.
Obtain your examination results and certification from the training company or via TSI’s official channels.
Accreditation
TSI is the only Certification Body accredited by the Emirates International Accreditation Centre (EIAC) for Food Safety Level 5. The accreditation is in accordance with ISO 17024 – Conformity assessment – General requirements for bodies operating certification of persons.
